Pomegranate

Pomegranates are to originate and be prepared from clean, sound crops. After harvest, pomegranates are to be sorted, washed, quick frozen by the use of fluidization technique, and metal detected.

During selection, mature and rotten are to be totally excluded. Good agricultural and manufacturing practices are to be applied. The product manufacturing and agricultural practices should not involve the use of any additives whatsoever. The product must not be obtained or manufactured directly or indirectly with the aid of genetically modified techniques.
